My father started teaching me guitar when I was 12 years old (I am 22 now so that makes 10 years... right?). My knowledge of music theory is very basic: I just learn what I need to understand how the guitar works and how to improvise, make arrengements... I mainly focus on learning new songs (If there is a Beatles song you like, there is a very high chance I might know it ;)
