Acerca de Elise
Aunque disfruto mucho de mi carrera en el mundo tecnológico, la enseñanza siempre ha sido una parte importante de mí. Echo de menos trabajar con alumnos, ayudar a las personas a ganar confianza y compartir con otros el proceso de aprender un idioma. Para mí, enseñar inglés no es solo explicar gramática o vocabulario, sino ayudar a que cada persona pueda expresarse con más seguridad y sentirse más cómoda en situaciones nuevas.

Although I really enjoy my career in tech, teaching has always been a big part of who I am. I miss working with students, helping people grow in confidence, and sharing the process of language learning with others. For me, teaching English is not just about grammar or vocabulary, but about helping people express themselves more clearly and feel more confident in new situations.

Soy profesor nativo de inglés, con un Máster en Educación y experiencia enseñando tanto a niños como a adultos. A lo largo de los años he trabajado como profesor en aula, examinador de Cambridge y también ayudando a adultos con inglés para entrevistas, trabajo, conversación y comunicación profesional.
Mis clases son prácticas, adaptadas a cada persona y enfocadas en que el alumno gane confianza usando el inglés de verdad. Me gusta crear un ambiente cómodo y relajado, donde puedas preguntar, equivocarte y aprender sin presión. Cada alumno tiene objetivos diferentes, así que intento ajustar las clases a lo que necesitas, ya sea mejorar la conversación, prepararte para una entrevista o examen, o simplemente sentirte más seguro hablando inglés.
Además, hablo español con fluidez y llevo 11 años viviendo en España, así que entiendo muy bien las dificultades que suelen tener los hispanohablantes al aprender inglés. Eso me ayuda a explicar las cosas de forma clara y a asegurarme de que entiendas no solo la teoría, sino también cómo usar el idioma de forma natural en situaciones reales.

I’m a native English teacher with a Master’s degree in Education and experience teaching both children and adults. Over the years, I’ve worked as a classroom teacher, a Cambridge examiner, and also helped adults improve their English for interviews, work, conversation, and professional communication.
My classes are practical, personalised, and focused on helping students feel more confident using English in real life. I like to create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can ask questions, make mistakes, and learn without feeling under pressure. Every student has different goals, so I always try to adapt lessons to what you need, whether that’s improving your speaking, preparing for an interview or exam, or simply feeling more comfortable communicating in English.
I’m also fluent in Spanish and have lived in Spain for 11 years, so I understand the challenges Spanish speakers often face when learning English. That helps me explain things clearly and make sure students fully understand not just the rules, but how to use the language naturally in real situations.
