Acerca de Jaime
Valencian (Catalan) is a lovely-sounding and sonorous Romanic language, but only if pronounced correctly! I enjoy helping others achieve a higher level of this language, in terms of both speaking and writing. Do not hesitate to reach me if interested in all that I just mentioned. Until soon! As a Valencian native speaker, this language has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
The difference between the two types of dictionaries is something worth mentioning, too. In English, all dictionaries are descriptive, whereas, in Valencian, the dictionaries are normative. There is a clear difference between the two. We will talk about this in more detail when we meet. Until then!
I have an advanced J.Q.C.V. Valencian certification.

I like teaching my students about funny Valencian sayings, as well as collocations, idioms, and more. We will tackle all aspects of the language enjoyably. I guarantee fun and positive lessons.
I have passed the C2 Cambridge Proficiency Exam. If you are a foreigner, the lessons can be conducted in English. This would not be a problem for me whatsoever. I leave this up to you!
The lessons can be purely conversational, more focused on grammar, or both! We will take notes as we speak. We will write down words as we say them. We will dive into why they are spelt in a particular way.
The gender part of Valencian (Catalan) can be a bit tricky, but we will take a look at this with a positive attitude. Valencian is a phonetically consistent language, which makes its pronunciation easier to learn, in comparison with English. Let’s discuss this subject further in detail when we next see each other.
I can teach you the basics of the language, or perhaps more tricky sides of it. I will help you out, whether you are at a beginner or an advanced level. Meeting at a café is my preferable option. I charge 19€/lesson. However, two or three people can attend the lesson at the same time. In this case, each lesson would cost a total of 20€. This is not much if it is split among the two or three of you. I look forward to helping you reach a higher level of Valencian, which is essentially Catalan. Intercommunication skills are highly valued nowadays, and understanding Valencian will come in handy in this region of the country.

Sus clases son muy dinámicas, cosa que ayuda a que el tiempo dando clase pase rápido y no se haga pesado ni aburrido, a mí me sirvió mucho para tener soltura al hablar el idioma.
