Acerca de Hinako
Hello! I'm Hinako from Sapporo, Japan. I started teaching Japanese this year, 2025. And I have been loving every moment with my students.
I'm not a high-energy teacher——so I don't scream, but I'm definitely a person who laughs a lot and love making jokes.
In my lessons, I focus on creating a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel comfortable learning at your own pace.
My lessons have two options. Learning with my hand-made material, or with the textbook called Genki. Both materials cover all the basic grammars and conversations but using Genki requires you more self-study because of their curriculum. But it is effective if you are aiming to take an exam for JLPT N5 for example.
Let me know what you want to achieve, and we will figure out what's the best for you :)
I'm currently studying Spanish myself, but to be honest… I'm really struggling! (lol) That’s why I truly understand how challenging it can be to learn a new language.

My online course focuses on conversation rather than writing, but we will make sure you can read hiragana and katakana together.
We will start with basic greetings and go further into grammars step by step! This way, you can gradually build confidence and start speaking naturally. Let’s learn Japanese in a relaxed and enjoyable way!
I am not fluent in Spanish(but hey, I try!), so I will conduct the lessons in simple English to make them easy to understand.

Hola!! Hinako fui mi profesora y aprendí mucho con ella, se toma el tiempo de responder todas mis dudas con buena disposición y con diferentes maneras de explicar hasta que de alguna forma entienda, genera un ambiente cálido y de confianza para buen aprendizaje. Además, sus clases personalizadas tiene mucho material y se nota su dedicación, ya que en ocasiones incluía mis gustos en actividades para mayor motivación
Es muy buena profesora, muy preparada, responsable, amable y es divertido aprender con ella. Recomendo las clases 100%, en el tiempo que llevo he aprendido mucho y ha sido una experiencia muy grata.
