Acerca de Grace Alicia
My background is in Neuroscience and Linguistics and I have been teaching English in Girona for the last few years in various schools (Saint George and Les Alzines). I have a background in formal Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. I have worked on a few academic papers looking at new languages and how children aquire language. Sometimes being a native speaker is not enough as native speakers often do not know all of the grammatical rules in their mother tongue, I am used to working with Syntax trees and therefore have an extensive knowledge of the English grammar.I give private one-on-one lessons as well as small groups.

I believe that everything starts with being immersed in the second language: English is always spoken in classes! Although grammar and vocabulary are important, incorporating this into your speech is another task in itself. Conversational classes are key for me! I am happy to adapt classes to students' needs and what their own personal targets.
