Acerca de Matthew
To introduce myself a little more, I'm Matthew but you can call me Matt :) I'm 22 years old and I studied chemistry. In my spare time I produce music and ride my bike; I like cooking but I love eating my food more. I’ve been living in Bogotá, Colombia for a total of 9 years, 5 studying and 4 working in various different fields giving me not just everyday vocabulary but the ability to construct complex ideas and concepts as well as the ability to explain them in professional environments.

The sessions usually last one hour although they are flexible to your needs. I learned Spanish solely through living here and immersing myself amongst native speakers and in a space of 9 years I have reached a native level and I want to share that experience with you. Within the classes we will talk about various topics of low, intermediate, and high complexity so that in addition to solidifying your current level, you can learn more vocabulary, expressions, and gain the confidence to talk about professional and personal topics that serve your needs and interests.
As someone who moved to live with my Colombian family 9 years ago, I understand the struggle of being able to understand everyone in theory but in practice not understanding anything. I want to share my insights into learning Spanish and actually being able to use it to communicate and understand life as you experience it.

Mis clases de inglés con Matt han sido geniales! Me pareció muy chévere cómo fluyeron las sesiones y los temas que cubrimos.

He estado tomando clases con Mat durante bastante tiempo. Cada sesión ha sido planificada bien, y son agradables y útiles. Es un excelente profesor y fue un placer estudiar con él.
My time spent with Matthew was both productive and enjoyable. He's a very good teacher and also a very nice person. Anyone wishing to learn the Swedish language will not be disappointed with his instruction.
Matt helped me get to grips with the Spanish language, with enjoyable lessons. He's helped build my confidence through some of the idiosyncracies of grammar with interactive conversation sessions.
His well planned lessons meant that I could see the progress I was making and I feel that I have gained a good foundation which I'm now ready to build on!
