¡Hola! Soy Víctor Manuel Ruiz Vélez, de Colombia y toco la trompeta desde los 8 años (ahora tengo 24) y me encanta ser músico, por eso decidí hacer mi licenciatura en trompeta. Antes de graduarme comencé a enseñar en diferentes niveles, desde niños hasta adultos, alcanzando metas importantes en su desarrollo musical. Me gusta jugar videojuegos, comer buena comida y divertirme con mi familia y amigos.

¡Genial! Victor was unavailable until the first week of September. My son had a test, and Victor kindly helped us by adjusting his schedule for one lesson to help my son prepare. Communication was excellent.

He is flexible with scheduling which is a huge help.

I am a member of the same band that Victor plays in and occasionally conducts in. He is an amazing musician and a very musically minded person. I trust his musical playing ability and judgment.
Victor is reliable, respectful and a good person to be around. When Victor is asked to do something he gets it done efficiently and goes beyond what is asked. If Victor is given criticism he takes it and uses it to do better. He teaches from a thorough understanding of his subjects and in a means that is understandable and enjoyable.
He is a terrific musician and a wonderful trumpet player. He loves teaching and he goes well with everyone. He has experience in many different genres (from classical to popular). He understands his students’ musical wishes and he guide them in the right direction with passion, commitment, and with the appropriate pedagogy according to their level, needs, and abilities.
Victor is a great guy. Super kind and gentle, but with high expectations. He has a way of communicating with all sorts of personalities, and is an incredibly hard worker. I’ve known Victor for a while now, and there is no one I would go to faster for help on trumpet than to him.
Víctor is dedicated to his work and the music development of his students. He will do everything in his power to ensure the growth in his student’s learning practice. Overall a kind individual with a teaching gift.
